Lost Sight

From these four walls,I venture still
Till at last I tire, getting my fill
Crossing the paths, where others have walked
Some moving forward, yet others have balked
I tend to stop at these such roads
And try to learn from what unfolds
As I'm taught from others woes
I store these thoughts,so future flows
The adventure of life is a wonderful thing
To see children smile, and hear birds sing
Yet we lose sight of this special gift
And lose we will,if allowed to drift
